Being offered for sale is a 2006 Big Dog Motors Ridgeback 117" chopper with a clean and clear title in hand. The bike is showing 36k miles and has been priced accordingly! It does need a rear tire and we have done no service what so ever to it as it was a trade in and we are offering it as is since this is not the type of bike we typically deal with. There are some minor scratches on the exhaust and right bar end from a stand still tip over as well as a chip in the paint on the tank that was touched up. This bike sold brand new for over $30,000 in 2006 which would be equivalent to over $46k in today's money and it is being offered for a fraction of that original cost due to maintenance required as well as the massive depreciation that has effected the Custom Chopper segment in recent years! Now is the time to cash in on the depreciation of this genre and take ownership of a bike that was once on the walls of many enthusiasts bedrooms as an unaffordable dream in the mid 2000's. The parts alone on this bike are worth $1000's more than what we are asking so if you are just looking to finish a current project you already have and need a drivetrain or some very nice wheels or forks, this would be a far cheaper option than buying the parts brand new, as just the motor alone now costs more than what we are asking for the entire bike and this bike runs great and drives down the road in the short distance we went through the gears.
