Being offered for sale is a 2005 BMW K 1200 LT with 61k miles and a clean and clear title. The bike runs and rides excellent and is one of the smoothest riding bikes of its era. This puts a Goldwing to shame in terms of rider and passenger comfort and it has all the bells and whistles. This one has several nice options including driving lights, driver backrest, swing out highway pegs, and includes quite a few spare parts like the top case replacement rear luggage rack that allows you to cleanly remove the top case and exchange it for a low profile luggage rack, BMW OEM CD Disc changer, and many others. This bike does have a power center stand and reverse and both work. This bike comes with the Servo assisted ABS brake system that was synonymous with most BMW touring bikes of the mid 2000's and it does occasionally show the brake fault indicators on the dash as the ABS modules on these bikes were prone to failure. Most people delete the system to not deal with future issues however there is someone who specializes in rebuilding the units in the midatlantic reasonably. The system is not required for operation of the brakes it strictly goes into a failsafe mode where you no longer have ABS if the fault is present. Anyone familiar with older BMW's will be familiar with this as it was an issue on nearly every ABS model made through the 90's and 2000's. This bike is ready to be ridden anywhere in the country and you can do it economically and in warmth and comfort with the best wind protection offered on any motorcycle. Heated grips and heated seat work great! The bike does have a few minor scratches from stand still tip overs but the bumpers did their job and protected all but the chrome trim on the bags.The bike is priced to sell so don't miss out on this luxury touring bike that was $20k new all the way back in 2005 money and is now going for pennies on the dollar!!!
