Being offered for sale is a 2009 Yamaha R6 Raven Edition in one of the rarest color schemes of Raven edition ever offered as most were blacked out color schemes. This is a very clean bike with some nice upgrades already done and is all original bodywork and paint. The plastics are in good shape aside form some scratches and a crack in the lower right fairing and tail. This is without question the best generation of R6 acknowledged by many to be one of the best track bikes of all time. The 2008-2016 R6 was so good they kept it literally unchanged aside from paint schemes for 9 years which is unheard of in the 600 supersport class. Even the last generation of R6 2017 and up used essentially the same frame and motor with updated suspension and bodywork. This is certainly the best looking of all the R6 bodystyles and has timeless lines that will always look good. With the discontinuation of the R6 in 2021 and now the R1 as of this year, these bikes will only go up in value as Yamaha and most of the other Japanese manufactures have no plans to replace these thoroughbred race bikes with anything in the near future. The R7 and R9 as good as they are will never be the screaming all out race bikes with lights that the R6 with its famously high 16000 rpm redline was and it was truly one of the last bikes that didn't give up performance for the sake of emissions standards.
