Being offered for sale is a 1977 Moto Guzzi V1000 Convertible. This is the quintessential 70s and 80s California Highway Patrol model that they used for many years of service. These bikes have become mostly lost to time with 10s of thousands being produced back in the day and then in recent decades drying up as collectors bought them for their private collections and the rest were mostly reduced to languishing in salvage yards as prices got cheap and they were scavenged for parts to keep the higher mile units going. This is a nice original survivor and needs nothing more than a general maintenance of the fuel system and possibly the brake system from sitting completely unused the past 5 years. The bike was being ridden regularly up until 2018.
