The Yamaha V-Star 950 is one of our favorite mid size cruisers and is by far and away one of the best lightweight metric cruisers money can buy with AMAMZING build quality and reliability that far surpasses any other make and model for its size and price range but also has the styling and performance to match its unsurpassed build quality. This bike is truly in a class of its own with fuel injection, belt drive, amazing paint schemes and excellent well designed and high end chassis that would be on par with anything Harley has to offer at doule the price. This bike would outclass any Iron 883 sportster or Indian Scout and would go 100s of thousands of miles with nothing more than oil changes, and the occasional valve check. No intensive services needed and no need to worry about premature engine parts failing. Yamaha has a track record dating back to the 70's if not earlier of building bulletproof, very high quality, and high performance bikes at a fraction of the cost of many of the other manufacturers. This is a great bike and a great bargain when you consider its less than 6k price tag which was roughly half of what it cost new after prep and destination charges.
