DEALER NOTES:
This is a very original and clean example of one of the best fireblades ever made. This bike has been tastefully modified with all the usual upgrades you would expect to find on superbikes of this era such as the old school ORIGINAL Yoshimura bolt on pipe and hotbodies undertail. These bikes have a strong cult following and to this day they are regarded as the last of the true Fireblades designed by the original designer Tadao Baba. This is from the absolute pinnacle of the Supersport heydey when the chassis were short and light and the engines had very little in the way of emissions holding them back from their full potential. This is a truly analogue sportbike aside from the PGM-FI fuel injection. Just your right wrist to determine how high you want the front end to come up. These were very popular stunt bikes because of their ultra light and compact chassis with one of the shortest wheelbases of any liter bike to date, other than the 04-05 original ZX10R widow makers. This bike is dripping with HRC tech and design from the era and any Honda collector would appreciate having a 954 in their collection as it is the last and the greatest of the original 900cc Fireblade series. Today's fireblades may be faster, but nothing will ever look as distinctly Honda as this bike does. We just did a full tune up on the bike including valve clearance check and oil change and the previous owner had recently installed new tires and wave rotors front and rear. The values on these have doubled in the last 2-3 years and they will be reaching RC 51 prices within the next few as they become rarer and more and more of the high mileage cheap ones are used up and scrapped, don't miss out while prices are still reasonable!
