This is essentially a brand new bike with next to no mileage and is absolutely flawless. It has only been ridden a total of 705 miles since it was purchased new in December of 2022. This bike has a FULL manufacturer warranty remaining until December 2025. This is one of the most revolutionary bikes produced by BMW in the past several decades not so much for its ground breaking technology but more so their dedication and celebration of the technology that made BMW Motorrad what it is today. If it wasn't for their faithful boxer motor bringing their R bike range the accreditation it certainly well deserves today the BMW motorcycle may have ceased to exist. The die hard BMW enthusiast all know any true blue Beemer has to have a Boxer at the heart of it, whether it be the track slaying coveted HP2 or the continent crossing R series GS Adventure models they all have the thumping boxer twin beating away for 100s of thousands of trouble free miles. BMW have decided to build upon their success with their preceding smaller boxer twins by making one of the largest boxers ever put into a production bike at 1800cc this motor has presence like no other. There may be bigger Harley engines out there in the 2 cylinder class but their sheer girth pales in comparison to having these 2 throbbing huge pushrod air cooled heads sitting just inches in front of your legs. It feels like someone stole an air plane motor and stuck it in a retro raked out and lengthened R bike chassis from the 60's. It is a bike with a ton of character, typical BMW build quality, and lots of high tech features you wouldn't find on bikes of yesteryear that help keep you safe, and make living with the bike day to day much less stressful. Things like fuel injection, rider power modes, traction control, ABS brakes, etc. These bikes are an absolute bargain when buying even gently used such as this one here considering what they cost new vs second hand. Save yourself literally $1000's upon $1000's by buying used, and this one still has all the same warranty benefits of a new model!
